New Saint George Utah Ironman Event…Saint George Utah Real Estate Statistics

As I have mentioned in several of my past postings I have links to all of the local city municipalities in the Greater Saint George area on my website. If they have a website, it links to that, if not, then it just has their contact information. In any event, I was searching through the latest Inside St. George Spring 2009 issue, and found this great event in the planning. St. George Utah – Officials announced on March 18th that Washington County will host a new Ironman event beginning May 1, 2010.The Ford Ironman St. George will be a qualifier race for the Ironman World Championship held every October in Kona, Hawaii.

Also…The City of St. George is offering a rebate for the use of water wise plants in the landscape. A rebate of up to $350 is available for plant material identified on the Washington County plant list as moderate, low or no-low water use. This program runs until October 2009 or until funds are depleted, whichever occurs first. More information is available at www.sgcity.org. Water, as always, is a precious resource. Being water wise is a responsibility we all share.
